Meet Lindsey

Embodiment guide and yoga teacher

I help people feel at home and alive in their body. I invite people to experience both the joy of movement and the healing power of rest and stillness. My teaching is informed by training in yoga, counseling psychology, mindfulness, health promotion, and health coaching.

Movement and creative expression have been central to my wellbeing, healing, and spiritual journey. I grew up as a competitive figure skater and college hockey player. I pushed my body to do more for me and often felt at odds with my limitations and perceived imperfections. I have experienced healing from trauma through body-based therapeutic modalities. I believe the body is sacred and movement can be a spiritual practice. I have worked in a fast-paced healthcare startup environment for the past decade, which has influenced my desire to develop tools and practices to build resilience and restore balance to the nervous system.

I come alive with spontaneous dance parties, tasty shared meals, and lots of sunshine. I live in Central Oregon with my husband, Rob, and our friendly golden retriever, Hurley.
